Who: The Joshquest Party What: Joshquest When: At the end of June Where: The Night Vale Community Radio station Warnings: None here, but pay attention to CWs in tag subjects!
One night, like every other night this month, Joshua's voice comes over the radio in its nightly broadcast.
Unlike every other night, though, it isn't the nightly broadcast.
"Howdy, Listeners. I've got a little bit of a change in the line-up tonight. Instead of the usual, how about... we play a little game?
You see, Listeners, I've been stuck in this radio station for a while now. Don't get me wrong, it's been a blast watching you all out there, but you can't blame a guy for wanting to stretch his wings after a while, can you? And besides, something needs to be done about our present situation. I don't know if you've noticed, but it's not looking too great out there. Seems like our fun is about up.
Unfortunately, I can't make it out of the building myself. But, lucky for you, it seems like the station has finally decided to show its doors on the outside. How convenient! Just mind the guard dogs.
Find me, and win a prize. Or, don't find me, and the Grove can just slowly turn into a desert wasteland. Oooh, what a thrilling turn of events. I'm hanging on the edge of my seat."
Whenever you show up, it does indeed seem like the station has developed a pair of front doors! They might be made of stone, with no windows or lights or even doorknobs or handles to be seen, but they are doors all the same. And, just as Joshua indicated, there do seem to be guard dogs - in the form of a small pack of Noisewolves.
