blizzard — cave in the mountains — nearing the peak? campfire dying, supply wagon visible but no one here

sword, snapped, broken glaive stuck in ground

flowers blooming in the snow

glass ball, broken — crystal ball??

tree with unshed leaves

scarf, shimmering thread — looking at this prompted inhuman shrieks in the distance

skull, bestial, tentacles stuck into the eye sockets

orb of light — one of the few sources of warmth in the cold

golden scale, shielding the area from the storm

objects depicting a sun, moon, and half black sun — floating in the blue glow of a staff ending in a dreamcatcher — growing dim — trying to stay lit

[there's a period of time before an addition is added]

Hello— for those who have met me, this is Astrid. I have been known to have prophetic dreams; some straight forward, some less so. This was one of the latter, and I didn't want to forget the details upon waking up.

Unfortunately, I haven't been here long enough to accurately interpret what I've seen. Maybe we can all come together and figure this out? I'm worried it could spell ill fortune.

I should hope we learned first hand after last month to trust in dreams and visions. Never been one for psychic visions myself, and I still foresaw the circus coming.

Very possibly. Do you have any attachment to any glaives? They felt related, to me.

The symbolism would be more relevant to our circumstances, most likely, and not to dream logic as a whole. Does that help?

Well. Wagon in the blizzard, maybe indicating travel to somewhere? The er. Skull and the shrieks make me assume there are monsters that maybe attacked who were there?

The sun, moon, and half sun are symbols of Beiwe-sama, Ourania-sama and the one who's been tormenting us... um

Flowers blooming in the snow are a common symbol of hope?

They are naginata where I am from, but I cannot say I have ever known anyone to wield one, no!
It would be quite the interesting weapon to hold off flesh eating creatures with, though!

Let's grasp onto the symbols again for a second. They're being lit by this dreamcatcher staff, which is trying very hard not to extinguish its light. Is there any deity associated with dreams involved here?

Hm. Probably not related, then. I think it's going to be more related to our current situation here, anyways. But if it's damaged, it's very possible it had been used to defend whoever had made camp there...?

Still, that does beg the question: what happened to that camp? Or rather, what will happen?

Though, re-reading it a few times, I can't help but wonder if the golden scale has anything to do with Sehul. I revived them some months ago, but only recently did they receive flesh once again. Oops.

I've visited Ourania-sama in my dreams before, but I'm not sure if it's her domain or not... of note is that Ourania-sama likes hiking. If its in the mountains that could be something... what kind of flowers were they, by the way? The goddesses have certain flower associations...

Blizzards and caves are about the only thing I recognize. I spent some time in the mountains back home. But I think just about anyone could probably say that.

They are a golden dragon, Beiwe's former mount. When the two of them were struck by the black sun's attack, Sehul died where he fell, while Beiwe cracked her horns.

... If I am remembering right, that is.

I was clearly awake. Sleep does not come easily some nights. The door is already unlocked.

Even if I could, we'd have to be damn lucky for them to line up with anything I've seen. I'm not even that familiar with sights around this place. Though I could tell you all about a strange resort we came across once.
