blizzard — cave in the mountains — nearing the peak? campfire dying, supply wagon visible but no one here

important:

sword, snapped, broken glaive stuck in ground

flowers blooming in the snow

glass ball, broken — crystal ball??

tree with unshed leaves

scarf, shimmering thread — looking at this prompted inhuman shrieks in the distance

skull, bestial, tentacles stuck into the eye sockets

orb of light — one of the few sources of warmth in the cold

golden scale, shielding the area from the storm

objects depicting a sun, moon, and half black sun — floating in the blue glow of a staff ending in a dreamcatcher — growing dim — trying to stay lit

[there's a period of time before an addition is added]

Hello— for those who have met me, this is Astrid. I have been known to have prophetic dreams; some straight forward, some less so. This was one of the latter, and I didn't want to forget the details upon waking up.

Unfortunately, I haven't been here long enough to accurately interpret what I've seen. Maybe we can all come together and figure this out? I'm worried it could spell ill fortune.

You're not wrong, though. It was rather unnerving... it had the air of a nightmare, that's for sure.

Though, re-reading it a few times, I can't help but wonder if the golden scale has anything to do with Sehul. I revived them some months ago, but only recently did they receive flesh once again. Oops.

I should hope we learned first hand after last month to trust in dreams and visions. Never been one for psychic visions myself, and I still foresaw the circus coming.
I suggest we all watch out in the coming days.

Blizzards and caves are about the only thing I recognize. I spent some time in the mountains back home. But I think just about anyone could probably say that.

The symbolism would be more relevant to our circumstances, most likely, and not to dream logic as a whole. Does that help?

I wonder if something's protecting us from a harsh incoming winter, though. There is that shield from the scale, as well as the flowers blooming in the snow and the tree that hasn't yet shed its leaves.

Still, the skull and tentacles definitely sounds like something to do with the Guardian Callan.

It could be a coincidence, but our gargoyle siblings wield a sword and a glaive, respectively. Zahliya's sword was broken previously, but I'm not aware of Zonari's having received the same treatment.

Are they influential figures in the Grove? It feels like a lot of important people are being brought up in conjunction with some of the imagery.

Orb of Light may relate to Freyr? Or - Aurora, I suppose.

I've had prophetic dreams for years. This one is new to being here, and I think related to here specifically.
