[in the middle of the night, hastily scribbled words come across the netbook with the urgency of someone who really doesn't want to forget something.]

blizzard — cave in the mountains — nearing the peak? campfire dying, supply wagon visible but no one here

important:

sword, snapped, broken glaive stuck in ground

flowers blooming in the snow

glass ball, broken — crystal ball??

tree with unshed leaves

scarf, shimmering thread — looking at this prompted inhuman shrieks in the distance

skull, bestial, tentacles stuck into the eye sockets

orb of light — one of the few sources of warmth in the cold

golden scale, shielding the area from the storm

objects depicting a sun, moon, and half black sun — floating in the blue glow of a staff ending in a dreamcatcher — growing dim — trying to stay lit

[there's a period of time before an addition is added]

Hello— for those who have met me, this is Astrid. I have been known to have prophetic dreams; some straight forward, some less so. This was one of the latter, and I didn't want to forget the details upon waking up.

Unfortunately, I haven't been here long enough to accurately interpret what I've seen. Maybe we can all come together and figure this out? I'm worried it could spell ill fortune.

I suppose you are right. Swords are a rather common weapon, in any case.
Still, that does beg the question: what happened to that camp? Or rather, what will happen?

We can't assume the camp is a literal location, but we can't assume it isn't either. Rather frustrating.

Camp typically implies safe harbor. A home base.
You don't suppose it means there is an impending attack on the village, do you?

Hmm. It almost feels more like interference of help, than a warning of an attack...

As in someone was trying to lend us aid, but was heeded in the process?

Could explain the unmanned wagon full of supplies. The items scattered around feel more symbolic of what's happening to us here, or things that might happen.

If it is a vision of what is to come, then perhaps it is meant to say that we all will have a part to play?

[astralprojection]

I wouldn't be surprised if all of us are needed in some way to fix things.

What timing! I was only just telling young Shiratori that we all had a part to play! Each of us surely has something to bring to the table in this fight.

I have a hard time believing we specifically of all the lost souls came here for naught but a grudge, but I haven't been here long enough to really know about all that very well. Surely there must be something about us?

That I am unsure of. I made a promise to use my strength to always protect others. Perhaps that played into something? But I do not believe all of us share that commonality!

That's a good creed to hold. But you're right, can't assume everyone comes with the best of intentions.

Oh! I did not mean to cast doubt upon our colleagues! Rather, I did not want to assume they had a similar upbringing. I am sure everyone here is perfectly upstanding!

Sorry, perhaps I run from more cynical stock than you do. Your idea is much better.
