So we aren't doing this, right? The inn is the only safe place we have left. We'd have to be stupid to ruin that by turning against each other.

I know I said I was worried about the magic being gone, but there has to be a better way to deal with this. We just need more time to work out what that is.

Maybe not. But they may also be blinded by concern for their loved ones over anything else. Do not attribute their actions to malice or ignorance.

It is a difficult situation we all find ourselves in. Tearing at one another for our choices or decisions will only make that matter worse. And that goes for both sides!

They may be well aware of the risk, but willing to take it for the sake of their loved ones.

Even I can admit to allowing the thought to cross my mind, despite knowing better.

Harm someone else? Absolutely not! But turning the blade on myself? I have already died once. One could argue that I know what to expect.

But in the event that I did not return... I could not do that to my loved ones again. The risk was far too great.
