( no he doesn't. ... operators though, huh. )
Tell us your mushroom opinions. I can't promise that this is a safe space but I am curious!

Speaking of, no, food isn't art.
[ He couldn't understand, either, although his logic is more of 'what a waste of good chocolate' (still), less than 'putting chocolate? On spaghetti? ON GOD?'.
And he's certainly too engrossed in the sharing of opinions that he hadn't connected the dots. After all, Gnosis had mentioned a 'Kreide', who also hails from Terra, but wasn't a Rhodes Island operator. ]
...Oh, mushrooms, though? Well, I generally enjoy them in food, although Victorian food generally aren't that good at skillfully employing them. Gaulish cuisine is a whole different matter, at least I heard so, but that was more or less a forbidden topic.
But if it was those mushrooms that you meant - the one I'd mentioned - well...I avoided them. I heard they caused hallucinations, and I have had enough of those. Do not need mushrooms to be able to trip so badly I cannot sleep for days on end.
I heard someone likes them a lot, though — they hid these mushrooms because of her. She's a Perro, her name's Ceobe.
...Uh, what do you think of mushrooms, then? In general? Or...do you have any specific variant you enjoy the most, more than others?

Oh, hallucinogens. I don't have experience with that sort of thing, but it does sound... not great.
When allowed the opportunity, I've gone foraging before. Mushrooms are a delightful ingredient that can be used in many different ways, but I like chicken of the woods best. They're all tasty though!

No, it isn't. I could not comprehend why some people would want to hallucinate willingly. If only I could trade places with them. [ NO. ]
Oh, yes. I could not say that that one is a particular favourite of mine, but one cannot be too picky with food. However, I do agree — that mushrooms are a delightful ingredient, and a versatile one, besides, and that they are all tasty. You should be careful of the poisonous ones, though, of course...
Speaking of mushrooms, it makes me wonder if...well, there would be some around the Grove. Not precisely in the forest proper, since I am told that we cannot go there since it is extremely dangerous, but...well, on the outskirts of town and such.
...On second thought, they might have eyes or scream when you pull them out of the ground...forget that. I am not adding one more thing to my pile of endless nightmares. I only have four sleeping pills left.
That aside...mushroom on pizza makes it taste a little better.

No one's been fond of that, from my understanding.
But yes, the forest beyond the fog is incredibly dangerous! Please be careful if you do enter it. The shopkeeper sells tools to navigate it safely.
He may also be able to help with your medication? I am unsure.

Would the mushrooms have eyes, though? Asking seriouslyThat is indeed true, save for perhaps masochists and suicides...
But I see. Sesa has also mentioned this to me before, although rather than the forest area beyond it being extremely dangerous, he said that the fog would make us ill. And he would advise trying to go past it. Hmm...does this mean that the forest continues, even well after and beyond the fog...? What sort of tools does the Shopkeeper sells for navigating it? It might be useful for future scouting operations, as...well, my Arts are still working, but it's, uh, glitching a little. Albeit a minor sort of glitch.
I suppose I shall try to ask him about it, too. I assumed that he did not like questions, but where else do all this information first came from, otherwise? In any case, you have my thanks.

Before the fog rolled back to the edge of the town, it had pulled far, far back- we could see more forest and trees than anything else. So yes. I know there's glasses that show the truth of things? And a cloak that hides your presence. Otherwise, I do not know. I'm sorry, I'm really not an adventuring sort.
He's not unfriendly, he's just depressed. :)

Ah. Interesting. The fog...keeps us boxed in, indeed. And...this place indeed functions as a cage, as I had suspected, and as Sesa has confirmed. It is our prison, and our sentence, then, might have had something to do with our past lives here.
That matter aside...that is quite alright. This information is already useful to me. You have my thanks indeed.
[ He is, of course, most interested in the cloak, as it might patch the aforementioned glitches in his Arts. But...reading the other's next words, he paused for a moment. ]
...That makes a whole lot of sense. [ In other words: felt. ]
