Clive here. I am unsure how to write this due to the sensitive nature of it, but I have some further information from Beiwe I wished to confirm before sharing. It may aid us in our fight against the forest.

Forgive me for being vague, but I am unsure who is corrupted, and as such I hesitate to write anything further. Yet this information must be shared.

Hey, guys. It's Vash. If you haven't seen me around the Grove yet then... Surprise. I'm back.

I found... a few things out in the Forest. Or, adjacent to the Forest, I guess? There's a lighthouse out there, you see. I really really don't recommend going in it. There's someone in there that's been extremely Corrupted. I tried to talk him down, but about got killed in the process, so... haha! Don't do that.

But that sort of. Brings me to the first topic at hand. What progress have we made in curing Corruption. And, uh. What can I do to help with that? I don't want him to suffer any longer than he has. I want to help him if I can.

And... Uh. Secondly. Near the Lighthouse I found a statue. It was of a woman. She seemed really pretty, but really sad. Anyone recognize her?

She saved me. If I had to guess, she's a Guardian. I heard her voice and felt her around me. Cold, but not dangerous. Like a cold wind on a hot day, I guess? And she felt... sad, too.

I want to help her as well. Though I guess I really don't know where to begin with that. So uh. Any help you've got, I'm listening.

I talked to the River Guardian and the big lizard in the river. The River Guardian's name is Sinann. The lizard is called The Behemoth. The Behemoth said she's a daughter of Callan, the Lake Guardian. Callan isn't fond of humans, so we should be careful of him. The lake is her home, too, so it would be good if we can help her get back through to it somehow. She isn't strictly allies with the false god, but will ultimately side with whoever is better for the forest. It would be best if we treat her and the uncorrupted nature with respect. She suggested we plant things in or by the river that will make good food for fish. She likes meat. I'm going to see about building her a shrine.

[You know, Wolfwood was under the impression you could just. You know. ASK for things here, or pay for them with Money, and just. Get them? That's how most people are getting things?? That's how he got his cigarettes, it's how Vash got him even more plus booze and candy, so sue him if he thought he could go to Ydalir and have it be a similar deal. Not so, apparently.

Now, Wolfwood isn't an entirely cruel, unfeeling person. He just doesn't know how to express his emotions in ways that aren't completely self-destructive, and being asked to give presents to people he largely doesn't know is asking for a lot from Mr. Nick here. He doesn't really get the significance of the big fur coat he's being made to wear, but it is at least warmer than anything else he owns, and he's going to be doing a lot of back and forth through the snow to get to everybody. The only thing he's missing is a reindeer...

...anyway that is somehow how Wolfwood manages to find Moder and convince her to be his steed. Because- and the exchange goes exactly like this- he pointed at her accusingly and said "You OWE me". So. Here we are.

Every single person in the Grove, be they man, woman, child, plant, robot, or something inbetween, will be receiving a gift. How Nick finds you for this is up to you. Maybe he knocks on your Inn room door, maybe he finds you at your own house. Maybe you find him first, riding on Modor looking particularly put-upon with a huge sack on his back and a lit cigarette clutched between his teeth to light his way through the fog.

Saint Nicholas is coming to town and he is coming to GET you.]
