[A doodle of a flat biscuit that may be familiar (a digestive biscuit) but instead of round it's square with scalloped edges. And Pure Vanilla is not going to read that delicious comment cries. It will remain striked-out forever.
And as he understands it, it seems there are indeed many from the same world here. They all use similar terms. Perhaps the sheer amount of them forced a transformation? Homogenization? Being an honorary one makes him smile, and he doodles that smile down.]
Thank you! It's an absolute honor, my friend!
[The sheep is delightful and he'll take a moment to simply appreciate the little doodles together. Unaware he's also giving Phantom time to process his words. He doodles a little arcane symbol beside the duo and their mouse, perhaps he can enchant it to move a bit....? It would be like the screens in the Magichanical Hangar.... but no, it seems either his magic for that does not work here, or there is a tamper-proofing on the journal. Darn.
The tear drop by the words as they begin to appear makes him pause. He knew the well wish might be painful, but he sincerely hoped it would be so.
... Hm. Perhaps... he'll ponder that thought later.]
All winters will end, indeed.
That skill sounds quite dangerous! And I am glad you agree with me, I fear I would worry overly much if you made yourself sick for my benefit! And you would never be able to shake me then, my friend, as I would ensure you returned to health in the uttermost comfort! And you do not wish me nagging you, for I have been told I can be quite suffocating when I need to be!
Ah, good! It is indeed what I'd like to do! A warm meal and drink after sounds wonderful! We can start on a day neither of us are busy, when the sun is highest to give us the most warmth advantage. We shall make it a day of it!

[ He gets it, and he drew a small black cat looking at the digestive biscuit inquisitively. The other striked-out part, however, sadly can't be helped. It was because Phantom was both afraid that it might sound impolite or offensive to Pure Vanilla, and because...well, he was embarrassed of admitting that all those sweets somehow sounds appealing. He doesn't think that he's ever had that many sweets before in his life. Not even in Rhodes Island. ]
I would say that the honour should be ours. My world is, after all...a cruel and gruelling place. There aren't many kind people there, although...well, I have met several when I come to Rhodes Island.
[ The arcane symbol went unnoticed, as he was still (unfortunately) quite absorbed in...thoughts of his Infection and the future.
Even so, his hand still moved to draw something else. Under the cute little doodles and Pure Vanilla's arcane symbol, the Feline roughly drew a castle, dark and forbidding. Then he drew a stickman with feline ears - himself - walking into it. Another black cat was next, one with two tails - Miss Christine - observing the scene and then running off someplace, to another stickman.
It was the story of his rescue from the clutches of the Crimson Troupe, although his dear friend would have been unfamiliar with it.
Still, it was a story with a relatively happy ending, even if the VOICE is still there, and his mind was still fragmented in two.
Still...it represented hope for him. Perhaps that was the point that he was trying to make, in relation to Pure Vanilla's wish. Miraculous things had happened in the past; perhaps it shall happen again in the future.
And...most importantly, there exists no other tear stains upon the page. ]
...Yes. And sometimes...miracles did happen.
[ As childish as it sounds. But he was glad for the change of topic, nevertheless. He did not wish to burden his new friend even further. ]
Indeed. I heard that a Perro girl has been trapped in her painting for years. I hope we are not actually trapped inside of someone's painting... [ Ouch. Way to overthink. ] But fret not, Pure Vanilla, I would not make myself sick because I went a little overboard with my assistance, then. A couple of people back home has warned me about that tendency of mine...including my superior, and a...stern Medic lady. I would appreciate that very much, however, and I shall try to tell you if, erm, I thought that you nagged me a little too much in the future...
[ He won't, since his toxic trait is going nonverbal, but...well, hopefully he had learnt his lesson concerning not speaking up when he needed to do so. ]
I have no objections either, then. That sounds like a plan indeed — a wonderful and sensible one. I would contact you again privately soon for a rain check, perhaps?

What if this was just a cruel puppeteers masterful play. What if things had gone differently, his memory befuddled? What if he speaks to the Light of Truth - something he has been afraid to do - and hears that cruel mocking in return?
He stares at the doodles almost blankly, caught up in his own mind and doubts for a moment before exhaling softly and shaking his head. Refocus.]
Miracles can happen when you least expect them, and sometimes you may just make your own. And I'm glad you will not push yourself too strenuously, there are many hands around who are willing to help ease any task you may consider doing, so please let us! Even if it is as simple as digging for these medallions! If I am nagging, then please know I do so out of concern, but shall ease off!
Yes, that sounds wonderful, please do let me know when you so desire it! I am always readily available!
[A goofy doodle of a little certain cookie jesus and a cat in the river having fun. The doodling helps ease his mind. If this is a play, it has moments of joy, and he will take it.]
