🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑 [ Moon Seance ]
Who: Moon Gang + idk other haters ig-
What: Moon Seance
When: Full Moon (May 23rd)
Where: Yeah-
Warnings: none immediately, but will be in post titles as they appear
[ Perhaps one might notice that Mizuki's started taking public notes in the netbook. He's dedicated a couple of pages to the cycles of the moon, and which moon was appearing in the sky that night, before the moon even rises. On the backside of the page he tries everyday to dot a black page with spots that are probably supposed to be stars. It doesn't seem random, but it's also hard to make out what it might be for initially.
The morning before the full moon, however, Mizuki circles the date. It's not as if it's a rare event or anything like that, happening roughly once a month and all that, but he does want to try to make a note of this. In the journal, on a new page, he writes: ]
It's a good night to contact the moon goddess, if that's something we still wanted to try! I can get some things to set us up. I recommend napping so you can be awake for later tonight!
[ No information beyond that, like a meeting place or anything like that, though it's likely Mizuki doesn't actually know where a good place to meet is. He doesn't know anything about trying to talk to gods that aren't already in your head, after all.
But he'll be outside by the well when night falls all the same, and he'll patiently wait for everyone to gather, too. ]

"Would you? To return souls who their World desperately needs? To seal a wound on a God that chews through all reality, that sinks Pain and Anger into Moon after Moon?"
It's not something he wants to do, no. He loves Dark Cacao. But he would do it. He would break himself more thoroughly than he's broken his Souljam.

It's a complicated manner- but not one for him to decide alone.
"You are not the sole bearer of this cross, Sweetest Sun. I will not have you martyr yourself like this. Speak of this to all in the Grove."
It's a command of a Goddess and not the gentle mother she has been. But then she settles again, gently cupping his face.
"I have asked this of our Sunflower. I ask this of you as well. Have you no mercy for yourself?"

Because Dark Cacao is his heart. He knows what the man would say, would agree to. Even suggest it on his own, if it came down to it. Just as Dark Cacao knows Pure Vanilla would offer something like this. May probably even think this might be the last time he'd see the Cookie, if Pure Vanilla had the chance to fix it all right now for his life.
But he bows his head in agreeance that they will speak to all of those who live in the Grove about this. It is not something to decide on a dime. They don't even know how to close the Rift yet, of course.
The touch to his face startles him, his ears flinching back, and the question makes him blink. Turn his eyes away.
This one he doesn't answer.

If we must discuss this now... I am the one who has nothing to return to. If one must stay behind so the rest can leave, then let it be me. My death served no purpose on Elrios; allow my life to serve one here. Returning me "home" merely returns me to the blackness which I emerged from.

Also doesn't like that those words may bring a small fire of relief to his heart. A matchstick of Hope. He feels bad about it.]Our Lady is right, this is a matter we must bring to everyone. There is much discuss. But Harque?
[ Softly, for Harque only... and Ourania cause she's God who can Hear Everything ffs. ]
Thank you...

He Will make good on that hug later.]

"I witnessed all at the festivities, you know. I know what you've asked of him. I can't approve of this self-sacrifice. I won't be like that wretch of a sun- I won't thrive off of your pain and heartache."

Her words do make him laugh a little (ignore the hint of the sob behind them), and he offers a watery smile.
"I thank you for your wisdom, My Lady. I am sure Dark Cacao Cookie would thank you as well, were he able to hear all this. Before our time is over, may I ask one more thing? How do we seal the rift?"

"I know not the details of the ritual the little lion prepared, that his children carried out. But I know that it can be reversed. He, and his kin, are the key if you wish to reverse it. Otherwise, you will need healing magic and cosmic magic native to this world intertwined, on a greater level than you may expect."

He is not crying in any way, shape, or form. If you see otherwise, you need your eyes checked. He will punch you if you say anything, Josh. He may be Jesus but so help him.
Little Lion... who... him. Kin. Family.
Oh.
Give him a second to compose himself and discreetly wipe at his eyes, before nodding, frowning. "Aldric. Thank you again, My Lady. I fear I have taken up so much of your time, you should rest. We," look, he's using we. Not I. All of them, "will figure something out."

"I trust that you will."

And he does, for a time, tears whisking down his face unimpeded and unacknowledged, before smiling and hugging her in return, a tight - but careful mind of the injury - hug and pulls away.
"Please rest, My Lady."
