A video game! It's about... "You", who is usually "Baba", this little white bunny creature. And you have to touch an item that is "Win".

Which sounds easy in concept but there's a lot of obstacles that pop up with different word stipulations that affect the rules. Not to mention if "You" are never anything, then instead existential dread sets in as the music goes away and there's nothing but white noise to let you think about what it really means to be you and what would happen if you no longer existed and if the world would simply stop or if you would cease to exist.

Sounds spooky! And one of those kinds of games that makes you want to stare at a wall when you beat it. Sounds great- uh. Do we have access to video games here?

Not in the "they're from here" sense, but I have a couple of consoles here~. I have that game on my Switch, so I can just let you borrow that if you wanna give it a go.

it's a portable game console. there's a big screen in the middle (a screen is kinda like a photo but the pictures can move) and little controllers off to the side so you can control your characters and stuff.

Oh! We have consoles back home, but they sound a little different. I think the last one I had was a Nintendo 3DS? Before getting thrown into like, a weird horror-punk 1800's-ish world for a few years.

I have one of those, too! I'm never sure if anyone has the same stuff I have or not, so I feel the need to explain...

Did the 1800s at least let you bring your 3DS?

Nah, that's a pretty good call. You never know when someone might be from, I dunno, some high fantasy setting without electricity. I did wake up here dressed like I was from some gothic horror novel set in the 1800s, after all. The year back home for me was 2012, actually.

NO. I haven't seen any of my consoles since! I've like, barely had the chance to play video games in AGES.
