[netbook] soups that could make you forgive your father
Hiii it's Ain!! I have the flu or something haha. I didn't know I could get sick :O
How do you make soup? It's vegetables in water and then you put it in the oven at 500, right?

[Yes but he doesn't have an oven there-]

I just didn't want to live where I was doing business :O

idk
you were scared of mannequins in general or not
[Look he wouldn't blame Ain if he was, even moreso now that he's been attacked by them.]
but i guess that makes sense
aint like i live in the church

[Look, he successfully identified an emotion! ...one that he had to be told he had by Harnier but still! Now we just need to get to the rest of them.]
And now it's worse because I'm all sniffly and my head hurts and I can't stop shivering :(
no subject
[Poor Ain though...he is so small and wet and sad.]
im sick as a dog too
want me to come over?
no subject
I have not learned my lesson though! I would do it again :)
[At least he admits he won't change.]
I do want you to come over but I don't have furniture (the couch and the pillows on the bay window are still cowering in the corner and refuse to let me sit on them) so I have a blanket nest on the floor.
no subject
[Shut the fuck up YOU would do it again too.]
you say that as if i havent spent my entire life sleepin on sand
im comin over

Bring more blankets if you have them :O
[If he's not under ten to twenty pounds of weight right now his anxiety is going to make him explode, A.B.A told him he was going to die so—]

Wolfwood will drag his ass up off the couch though, grabbing a blanket from it that has only a bit of dog hair before heading out into the rain. He's going to try to powerwalk so he doesn't get too wet (please for the love of god just invest in an umbrella why are you like this) as he heads for the Inn, eventually making it there relatively unscathed. Damp, but otherwise fine.
Then it's up to Ain's room, knocking softly on the door before pushing it open.]
Oi...Angel? You awake?
no subject
Nikolauuuuus...
[He sounds like the most pathetic little bug, like yes Wolfwood saw him the morning after when the symptoms started to set in, but man they have set in now.]
no subject
Wolfwood shakes his head a little as he pulls the door shut behind him, tossing the blanket over one shoulder as he makes his way inside. He's giving the furniture a wide berth right now because fuck all of you, tossing the extra blanket on top of wherever Ain is under the heap before sinking into a lopsided sit alongside him. At least he can't be worried about getting sick when they're both sick.]
It really got you bad, huh?
no subject
Yeah... haha, I was sicker after we left the Abyss, though. It's basically a hole in the Demon Realm, it's hard to explain, but me and the El Search Party were apparently the only people to go in there and survive it. I guess as a consequence, we fell ill pretty much immediately after climbing out.
I shouldn't be able to get human-sick, though! This sucks.
[He appreciates the extra blanket, and also:]
Someone in the notebook said I'm dying. [He sounds legitimately concerned about this.]
no subject
Wolfwood, meanwhile, lets Ain come in close, lifting his arm so he can get under it and he can wrap his arm around his torso proper. If nothing else, yall can share feverish body heat.]
You ain't gonna die. Especially if this is less bad than whatever you had then.
[Again he reiterates: everyone on that post is going to hell.]
You might feel like you're dyin', but you won't actually.
no subject
But they were pretty sure... I don't recognize the handwriting, haha... they must be a doctor. Or a warrior from somewhere.
Will you be sad when I'm dead? [Xanax. Please take a Xanax.]
no subject
You ain't dyin', Ain.
[He gives Ain a little squeeze, tugging him closer to his side.]
Whoever said that either didn't know what they were talkin' about, or was fulla shit. Or both.
[He'd wager both.]
...I'd miss you. But you ain't gonna die, so that don't matter.
no subject
But how do you know.
[Doom spirals doom spirals doom spirals—]

If I thought you were in real trouble, I'd've brought you to the clinic by now. Hell, my ass would be there too.
[Not for lack of trying to be anywhere else, but hey.]
You're fine. If you don't believe it, believe me instead.
no subject
Okay...
[But what if angels are allergic to human illnesses—]
...at least we can be sniffly and have no furniture together, huh?
no subject
[He doubts anything else he could say will help Ain feel much better, but at least he's trying...he is, as Mizuki might say, "making an effort".]
You should have some of that soup, if you haven't. It'll make you feel better.
no subject
[The stove on the kitchenette might work but Ain sort of doesn't know how stoves work, he's realising.]
no subject
Got any pref on which one I heat up?
[He's just doing this now, do not argue with him-]
no subject
[Good thing that Ain, who is a Giant Baby about this, has a man to take care of him. Yaaay.]
no subject
Wolfwood makes his way over and picks a soup at random, which ends up being something hearty but comforting like a potato or cream-vegetable soup or something. He hefts the pot and carts it over to the stove to get heated, because even if he doesn't often have access to such amenities back home, he knows how to use one. It'll take a bit of time to heat through, so he'll have to stand there babysitting it with a spoon for a bit.
Just like a real malewife.]
...where's your dog at by the way? Kinda surprised he didn't try to tear through the door when I came in.
