She cannot translate it- it is a dead language from before the apocalypse. As a freebie, Dipper has a translator from that era though!
But she can see some of the imagery and pictures referenced in other picture books- they aren't the same, but sometimes a woman in an illustration will be posed in a way that seems... deliberate. Too much to be entirely coincidental.
The nursery rhymes seem to span from Guardians to men and women to faeries to the Gods themselves.
