[So the situation is ...that he blew most of his stored up magical energy from Vanilla escaping the first jail, which, he will admit, he definitely could have tried to conserve better.]

[But being in that place made him FREAK OUT and so he just EXPLODED what he could and ran. Weird! No reason to unpack that reaction.]

[So, he tries, and something does almost connect, but the more Shadow Milk tries to force it open, the more it is clear straining him. Their connection is ...possibly muted over this distance? Or muffled at least, but there is SUCH a huge spike in pure anxiety when he has to drop the spell.]

[ Ah, he's not surprised the world separation thing prevents the draw. It feels quite like how it felt when he was here originally, and Shadow Milk was connected through his Jam but quiet. Too quiet to hear but enough to know he was there. The worlds dimming and weakening their connection.

It's frustrating, rather aggressively so. Them being together in soul and mind had come so easily, so naturally, even though it has only been a bit, that having it dampened now makes him unhappy.

Plus, his Bluebird is trapped in a cage and panicking, and it makes Pure Vanilla want to do a murder. The anxiety spike he feels and he tries to return a flooding calm. He will not let him stay there.

Thankfully Vash is on his way. ]
