Can someone identify this mushroom for me? I am foraging on the off chance we have another famine before this wretched cold ceases.

I am currently located at the edge of the Forest on the side where the lab and clinic are. I didn’t go in very far, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding me.

And you didn't consider listing the color? What object you found it near or on? It's relative size to its surroundings? Patterning, perhaps?

in sesa-hyung's defense fly agaric are pretty easy to identify based on that drawing because theres not a lot of stuff here anyway and they look pretty signf signifft sig they look pretty youuneeq

Amanita muscaria. You could eat it, but if you were relying on it in times of famine, you would have a fairly bad time.

Your body would reject it, if you will. It's unlikely it would kill you outright.

Though I'm gathering that it is, in fact, another species entirely?

In (a very earnest) defense of Sesa, we Sargonians do not have wild mushrooms save for in Acahualla where he has not been, I presume, based on the lack of knowledge about mushrooms or ability to articulate the difference between a deadly species and one safe for consumption.
