🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑 [ Moon Seance ]
Who: Moon Gang + idk other haters ig-
What: Moon Seance
When: Full Moon (May 23rd)
Where: Yeah-
Warnings: none immediately, but will be in post titles as they appear
[ Perhaps one might notice that Mizuki's started taking public notes in the netbook. He's dedicated a couple of pages to the cycles of the moon, and which moon was appearing in the sky that night, before the moon even rises. On the backside of the page he tries everyday to dot a black page with spots that are probably supposed to be stars. It doesn't seem random, but it's also hard to make out what it might be for initially.
The morning before the full moon, however, Mizuki circles the date. It's not as if it's a rare event or anything like that, happening roughly once a month and all that, but he does want to try to make a note of this. In the journal, on a new page, he writes: ]
It's a good night to contact the moon goddess, if that's something we still wanted to try! I can get some things to set us up. I recommend napping so you can be awake for later tonight!
[ No information beyond that, like a meeting place or anything like that, though it's likely Mizuki doesn't actually know where a good place to meet is. He doesn't know anything about trying to talk to gods that aren't already in your head, after all.
But he'll be outside by the well when night falls all the same, and he'll patiently wait for everyone to gather, too. ]

"There you are! I've been so worried about you and your siblings- please, may I see him?"
... Mother of Stars, indeed. Though after a moment, she frowns softly.
"His is an illness that came from my brother in law's corruption. He himself is not- he resisted well with what power he had, but it's left him weakened and compromised his health for it. While mine is from having been forcibly exposed to the realms beyond our world and having the wound held open, his is from fighting his own battle below. It is... a similar fatigue, but not the same.
If I cannot heal him, I can at least point you in the right direction."
no subject
Well! That's surprising, though in a muted way similar to a plot twist that he'd theorized was coming anyway. Joshua glances down at the tiny pink snuffling snout, and lifts the flap further so that he can dip his hands in and lift the little white hedgehog. He isn't really surprised to hear that Revati's weakness comes from fighting off the corruption, at least. Judging by what it did to the Noise he sent through the barrier, it seems like it would eat up quite a bit of energy.
"We've been feeding him magic, per his request. Myself, and a few others that contributed their own. I've noticed an improvement since I found him in the forest, at least, but it's probably nowhere near full strength, if I had my guess."
Revati is placed gently on Ourania's bed, so that he can climb up to her or she can retrieve him, either one.

Ourania gently scoops Revati up and boops his nose with her finger.
"Hello, my darling. You've endured so much, haven't you? I've missed you terribly. But I know you have your reasons now. Let's give this a shot, yes?"
The soft billowing of the curtains all around the room stop immediately, and she seems to radiate a brilliant glow not unlike... well, the moonlight at night. Revati accepts it, glowing in turn like a star.
When she returns Revati to Joshua's hands, he'll be in better health! ... But he still seems to be having breathing troubles.
"Continue to give him magic. There should be small white flowers with five petals that grow on the underbrush- the Stars on earth all consume them in a different way, but they have a restorative effect for them. About the size of your pinky nail."
no subject
"I'll be sure to look for them," he says, as he takes Revati back into his hands. A quick inspection of his own gets an approving nod - whatever it was, it worked wonders - and he tucks the little hedgehog back into the satchel. Snacks will be had later. "Sounds like there's more of this little guy out there, though. What happens if they grow too weak?"
no subject
As they are in mortal forms kept alive by their magic on the earth, they do not go nova. There are still a few out there at full power, but many are weak from the Fallen Sun's curses."
no subject
"And I assume he'll be alright, being away from his shrine?" For all that he seems dismissive of many things, he does at least seem to show some concern for this little hedgehog. With Revati safely tucked away, he tips his head back up to Ourania. "What happens if we're able to find more?"
no subject
"You are his new Caretaker. You, in a sense, are his shrine now. And should you discover more, they will do their utmost to aid you, as star magic contains multitudes- it is a blend of moon and sun magic. In fact, my dear Pommel is keeping one of yours alive in hiding as we speak.
Should they require assistance, I trust that you will show them a similar care. But not all of them will accept being removed from their shrines."
no subject
No, the more immediate need for answers lays in the mention of Pommel. Joshua lifts his eyebrows. "Oh? Who is it that's being kept alive? Or is that a surprise for later?"

Besides, weakened as she is, she probably can't talk for long anyway.
"Do the other stars out there look like Revati? Either in form or in coloration."
no subject
She gestures to Felicity, unaware of how she seems nervous suddenly.
no subject
"So, basically, we'll know one when we see it," he muses, glancing down at his satchel thoughtfully. A nebula cape... "It's a good start. Thank you. I'll see if we can't round up some more stars."
no subject
With his care for Revati, she's sure he won't disappoint.
