Hello...

I apologize for the inconvenience and you may disregard me as some dust left on an abandoned floor, but if it is not too much trouble I have a few questions.

I heard ...howls in the night, and saw the eyes of ...of something I dare not speak of in the inn windows last night.


What can we do about fortifications to the town- are there...have there been attacks in the past? I have not seen a cemetery here yet, but if the grounds have been disturbed we could invite something sinister. I am very new here, so I would like to know what I should do. To weather another attack by demons, I do not think my heart can take it.

there have been monster attacks in the past yes
last year there was this? pack of werewolf-like things. closer inspection in better light showed they were like patchwork dolls made of animals and people. it was fucked, to say the least. they also showed a high level of regeneration until daybreak, at which point they seemed to die permanently

around that time was also the murder flowers. they were actively carnivorous and sought to feed from blood and one day went into a frenzy.

there was also
another attack, a bit more recently. the entity in the woods got mad and sent a horde of monsters in, but also took control of one of our own. it

it went badly.




anyways! normally in major emergencies i cast a shield over the inn as it's a major commonplace for everyone and i know i can cover it in one of my bubbles. this is less than sustainable though, i know.


also as a note i did not hear anything similar last night. it's enitrely possible that the forest was playing with you. its kind of a dick.

anyways yeah things will go to shit sometimes. like i said i will try to make a designated safezone as needed though. it doesn't often last for more than a night. day in the flowers' cases, though they were building up to their attack for weeks visibly. fuckin hated those things.

as assuring as this DOESN'T sound, there seems to be an incident every few weeks but severity varies further. the patch wolves and the flowers were over a year ago now i'm pretty sure but the last named incident was a few months (assumedly) back. time is VERY weird here so it's hard to give precise dates. at the end of the beach banishment- so just when the lot of you new guys started showing up- there was a more personalized attack in direct response to angering the woods bitch rather than a grove-wide attack as well.

Unfortunately such a notion is impossible, as my poor nerves and cowardice are simply in my dna however, that wretched place I was in before did not manage to kill me entirely and so I do not intend to let this place succeed, either.
