[OPEN] elsword's housewarming party!

What: Housewarming party!! Snacks!! Mysterious river noises!!!! A mushroom probably!

Elsword has been building a house. And, when August rolls around (time is weird here, just go with it, it Feels like August ok) he manages to complete it. Which means...

a) moving really shitty furniture into the actual rooms, sorry this is all the Shopkeeper could spare, he'll buy and/or make nicer furniture later
b) installing a chandelier (dangerous!)
c) going around to the grove's residents to ask if they want to live with him
and
d) inviting people to have a "housewarming party", and explaining "I've never had one before but it sounds like fun" (you are here!)

There's food aplenty (mostly fish) cooked up and ready to eat, and the Shopkeeper has provided further party snacks, which is a fun way of saying there is a single large bowl of pretzels on a coffee table that looks like a halved tree. There are apples picked from the apple tree by the river's edge (Elsword has already thanked the forest for those). There's water. It's not the most extravagant party food, but there should be enough to go around. Just be sure to share with your fellow housemates and/or current partygoers, please, it's only polite.

There are games, too, but not anything too exciting. Elsword doesn't have any board games, and video games are a myth where he's from, so you'll all be playing verbal games like Two Truths & a Lie or Truth or Dare, which may or may not devolve into the most fratboy shit ever. There's no liquor here to make you immune to questioning your life choices, after all.

Outside on the patio are some of those awful, terribly uncomfortable plastic chairs likely pulled from the back of the General Store, but at least you can sit down and enjoy the sounds of the river nearby. The rushing waters, the sound of something croaking, maybe some gurgling... it's all very normal. There's nothing happening in the water. Elsword has even tried to create fake fireflies outside by using some of his magic to make little yellow orbs that float and bob in the air. It's quieter than inside, too, and is a nice escape from the partying. A relaxing time.

At the end of the night, after everyone has partied out, Elsword takes to cleaning up. He'll tell you not to worry about it and just let him handle everything, but if you stick around to help, you might find him staring into the shards of a mirror.

[ Caoimhe’s polite enough to ask, but Mizuki just uses the hand that isn’t holding hers to grab Elsword’s. ]

Great!!! We’ll be well rested before everyone gets here, then~!

[ Whatever he was doing isn’t important. He’s being dragged by an excited jellyfish to where his room is for rest. What better way to spend your preparation time? ]

[Oh okay upstairs they all go, then! Elsword's bed is barely big enough for three, but they'll surely all fit, however they arrange themselves.]

I'm not that tired. [But he doesn't sleep well anyway, so maybe he does need the nap.] But I don't mind lying down, either.

Ah! Its been... [ She smiles softly, squeezing Mizuki's hand. ] It's been a long time since I laid with another... Truly it has been so hard for me to sleep at night at times.

[ Caoimhe will!! Swoop up to make the BED COMFY!! She just pats it all like. Go ahead lay down Ill tuck you into bed. ]

[ Caoimhe, we really gotta work on your vernacular. ]

I wish I had known sooner. If all you needed were some cuddles I would've done this way, way sooner. [ Having Elsword here is just insurance that Caoimhe would always have a buddy, really. Mizuki can't always be it, especially when he likes to sleep underwater most of the time...

Onto the bed he'll go, though, happily. Mizuki can squish himself to make as much room as they need. We take our Mizuki's moldable. ]

[Elsword, immediately not getting what Caoimhe is talking about:]

I've never slept with someone either. [Thanks no one asked— but he'll take his spot on the bed... he supposes he'll be in the middle? That makes sense, right...] If you're having problems sleeping, I'm used to camping out and sharing space with others, so I can help. I think having someone there is nice.

[ Caoimhe gives a crossing thought ! She is... A bit nervous to cuddle with Elsword... Mizuki she is okay with, but with how he lays upon the bed Caoimhe feels like there is only room beside Elsword. She gets a bit shy as she layers blankets upon the two so they can snug beneath it. ]

I - Is... Where should I lay..? S-Sorry to ask I just... Want to make sure.

[ Femboy cuddles only. Great tastes, really, Caoimhe.

Mizuki doesn't seem to have much of an input here — this is Elsword's bed and cuddles are cuddles, he's not all that picky about who they're with. In fact, he quite likes the fact that he's here with two of, perhaps, the nicest people he knows? Maybe just existing in their vicinity will rub some of their niceness off on him~??

Er. ?? Is Caoimhe nervous? Oh, is it because he promised cuddles with her? Maybe she should be in the middle?????? Hmm… A compromise, then! Mizuki shimmies from the covers, giving a little tug so Caoimhe will lie down and then just full on sprawling out across both of their stomachs, stretched out more like a Feline than an Aegir. He gives a little stretch and everything. ]

This is fine, I think~!

You can lay right—

[—and then Mizuki sprawls over both of them right as Caoimhe hits the mattress, and he manages a half-amused exhalation. It's the closest to a laugh he can get.]

Right there, yeah. That works.

[Turns slightly, but not enough to disturb Mizuki... gives Caoimhe a snuggly half-hug.]

[ Did you know the sensation of feeling compacted is scientifically proven to help with anxiety - so anyway Caoimhe feels really cozy. At first she is tense, between Elsword being so close to her, like this specifically. As she never had problems with tugging him around, and walking beside him. It just felt wholly different to have him hold her in bed, but here they all were. Laying in a bed, with Mizuki sprawled across them.

Caoimhe gently leans against Elsword and moves her hand to run her fingers through locks of Mizuki's hair.

The tension begins to finally leave her, and she begins to relax. Thinking of all the things that have happened so far within the Grove.

All the people who disappeared and no longer were here, the Shopkeeper and his song, the Mansion, the gravestone, the plants trying to eat them and whisper sweet nothings... The Fog... So much.... But here in this moment, she was just between her and friends - no, family. Her new family. People who only just met her, and had already been much more closer to Caoimhe, then those she had went to save the planar cosmos with.

She wished that, she could have this closeness with them too.

Her eyes slowly begin to shut... And she softly exhales a small - ]

[ A hand sort of flaps around to look for Elsword’s arm so he can hold onto it. With Caoimhe’s hand on his head, too, this cuddle puddle is officially Commenced as far as Mizuki is concerned. He’s very comfortable, and he knows he’s not heavy enough to cause the other two any sorts of problems. He does excitedly wiggle his feet in the air for a moment before he relaxes completely.

He’s very happy like this, he thinks. These people hardly know him and yet they’re so close and so comforting and so easy to get along with. He’s not entirely sure this isn’t just a very realistic VR Isekai game. ]

[One arm around Caoimhe. One arm held by Mizuki, who gets a hand somewhere nebulously on his shoulder-slash-upper-body-region in a loose hold. Elsword slightly shifts so that his head is comfortable on the pillows.]
