Netbook | Some Minor Concerns

Hi! I'm Steph. The whole magic notebook thing is really cute. :)

I'm fresh off the boat, had to get around some super creepy goop to get here, saw several people with animal parts. No offense to said people, but that's a little unusual where I come from.

I figure I've been kidnapped, drugged, or both. I don't really like any of those options, so if there's a 4th, less sucky possibility I'd love to hear about it!

Also: the goop was really gross and creeped me out a lot, what's up with that?

Is it? We're still trapped here. We don't have any control over this whether it's an accident or not.

Sure it is. If it's an accident then there's nobody out to get you that probably won't settle for stranding you in weirdsville.

Seems like there's plenty of things out here to get us anyway. I think we need to be careful no matter how we got here.

Isn't that just life though? We're in a strange place, of course we should be careful.

Sure, but most strange places I've ended up don't have weird ghost guys trying to kill us.

The wraiths? I don't know if they're actual ghost guys.

I hope so. Most of the violence we get back home is pretty human. Not sure how to fight a ghost.

I don't even know if I could fight a human. I try to stay away from violence. I'm not sure how much that's going to work out here.

It should be okay if you stay close to other people. It's always safer to stay in a group. Some of them have swords even!

I guess it would be safer to stick with people who know how to defend themselves.

Joshua's brother, apparently. I didn't get his name, actually.

I haven't met any Joshuas.

[Maybe because he's kept to himself a fair bit. But, uh. Actually. Steph didn't get his name either, did she? After reading their conversation back he tacks on an addendum.]

Joshua says he works in the clinic. I'm gonna try to meet everyone in person but if you're worried you can go ahead and talk to him! He seems really nice, I'm sure he'll help.

[Or he won't since this conversation probably roughly coincides with White Lily's announcement about the destruction of the current poor state of the clinic.

Maybe he'll give that visit a bit of time...]
