You Guys Had A Rough Month(s), Time To Drink

Well, it’s been a long few months. A lot of you have died. Some of you probably repeatedly. But there’s good news to be had. The bar is still open, and between Luca and his spirit companion, there’s plenty of hands to pass everything around. In fact, Luca actually seems to be encouraging it. Anyone found to be in a state of melancholy is encouraged to stop by.

It isn’t just alcohol, mind you. Anyone in need of a hot meal will find one waiting for them on the hearth. Rather than stew, he’s serving something else this month. And of course, there is the usual assortment of cheeses to go around.

He’s also set up something special. All of the tables are more pushed to the side than usual, leaving a fair bit of room at the center of the room. Set up nearby are the records he’d received for the holiday, playing some more lively tunes. Need a dance? You’ll have one. Just mind the hearth, he can’t exactly move that.

Luca, of course, will put it best. “Come and revel. The months have been long and cold, and we know not what tomorrow brings.”

I fear there's nothing in the forest that would even tempt your might, my King. Besides-

[ Shameless he lifts his foot to place it against Cacao's leg under the table. ]

-You've already found me a magnificent beast.

[he sputters, blushing and coughing into his fist. His tail thumping even harder gives him away even so.]

[ His smile is innocent but his look is anything but, but he behaves and lowers his foot, sliding his tail against Cacao's to tease. ]

Contain your hungers to the soup.

For now at least.

[ He hears that and huffs a soft laugh behind his fingers. ]

Oh, very well. I shall be a good boy. For now.

[ But he does reach out to take Cacao's hand, carefully holding it. Despite himself, actual loving gestures still make him shy. ]

I wanted to show my appreciation for your support the past month. A small dinner in a pub is perhaps a bit lacking, but...

[ That makes his teasing soften, and he lets go of Cacao's hand to reach out and stroke his nails across his cheek. ]

But it's more than enough, because it's with you.

[He smiles softly at that]

And of course beyond that, I wanted to spend time with you as well.

Oho, you know you can steal me away whenever you want or desire.

[ The soft smile is cute and Affogato lets himself rise just enough to lean over the table and steal a soft kiss, bold as you can be. Then sit himself back down again, tail coiling up. ]

But it is certainly nice to be asked out~

Taking initiative is something I am trying to be better at.

[Luca is giving him such a look. You damn well better behave. He has a hard enough time keeping his sister from doing depraved things on the bar top itself.]
