[OPEN] let's start a fight via netbook
[Good morning everyone who thought the netbooks were going to be used for something normal, Elsword woke up and chose violence today.]
I have some questions
Is a ceiling a wall?
Is the ocean soup?
Is water wet?
If tomato is a fruit, is ketchup a smoothie?
Thanks

Well now! It's good to meet both of you. [How many people can read this at once who all is here-] Yes I do, I've been spending quite a bit of my time there actually. Gnosis has space there that I have been sharing for the time being. He's my coworker and colleague from...well. Where we came from, I suppose.
[Does Elsword/Add know about RI? Terra? He has no idea.]
no subject
That means you know Mizuki too??
[The fact that he knows how to spell Mizuki's name....... he owes it to the fact Mizuki spelled it for him multiple times when they first met. Fuck everyone else ig]
no subject
[Wait a minute. Mizuki lives with a young Sankta and his partner...Add is Elsword's boyfriend...Elsword knows Mizuki...........
He is connecting the dots.]
Are you that Sankta that Gnosis told me about?
no subject
[He's not a Sankta but he's never corrected anyone on this either, because to Elsword "Sankta" is just another word for Angel (it's not... technically incorrect, but it's also a little incorrect) and he doesn't want to be weirdly racist in correcting people about the words they use (yes he has ouroborosed this logic onto himself and he will not change).]
Mizuki has a lot of games in the bilding north of my house which is by the river. Maybe he told you about that alredy
no subject
[Unless Elsword finds him annoying, in which case good luck]
Not in full depth just yet! He was in the company of a terrifying beast last we spoke, so that didn't come up. [Wait-] That surprises me little. At least he and I will be able to continue to hone our skills in gamertorial combat, even away from home.
no subject
Whos the terrifying beast?? Most of the monsters stay in the forest. Did one get out?

She looks scary but she helped Mizuki Add and Ireen when they were in the forest. Shes the gardien of the forest so shes important. Like how zaleeya is the guardian of the grove
Thats the gargoyle on the roof by the way.
[THAT is not how you spell ANY OF THAT, ELSWORD]
no subject
I see. Mizuki had been acting very personable with the creature, so I was inclined to trust his judgement, but...still.
[Moder is scary as fuck looking]
These entities. Do they protect us from this "creature" that lives in the Forest? The one that created the volcanoes?
no subject
Zaleeya can cure corruption but only a little bit, youll have to talk to him about it because i dont really understand it that well. Its kind of like healing magic? Oh also he kills things very good. So kinda!
Moder is good at fighting too but the creature in the woods has the ability to corrupt stuff, and it corrupted her at one point. Luckily if you just beat people up enough they come back to life cured!!! Now shes on our side.
[.......yeah that really is how Elsword operates too, so this just makes sense to him.]
The corruption is really hard to explain over writing though
Basikly: The guardians are supposed to protect us and they do a good job but if we're not careful we can lose them too, I think, and they go back to being pawns of the creature. That can happen to us if we're corrupted too, so try not to do that.
im sorry-
Sesa is an idiot- a very smart idiot, but an idiot all the same- and he's not typically great sometimes at thinking before he says things. Or writes them. And in this case he doesn't initially realize how insulting it is to ask:]
I think speaking in person may be a better idea. Not that I haven't gotten the gist of course, but...who taught you? To read and write, I mean.
IM CRYING PLS
I don't really remember. Thats easier to explain in person too. Basikly I have amneesha.
[a
amnesia, buddy—]
no subject
I see. Well...that's alright. It doesn't matter. I'll just come to talk to you, if that is alright? You said your house was by the river?
no subject
[Sesa is about to figure out that Elsword is a lot less emotive in person.]
no subject
I'll be there in just a few minutes.
[Sesa will take a moment to address other notes in his book, if there are any directed to him, before closing it and leaving it with the rest of his few things before he strikes out into the bitter cold. He hates being outside right now, because the ice seems to cut through into his bones somehow. He tries his best to ignore it though as he beats a path to Elsword's house, from the lab to the house he'd indicated. By the time he steps in he's covered in a light dusting of snowflakes, which he uses his claws to brush off his shoulders and arms.]
Hello? Elsword? I, Sesa of Sargon, have arrived.
[It's probably a good thing nobody from home can hear him say that.]
casual body horror cw
Anyway, on the couch is the home's owner, who is currently putting away his own notebook just as Sesa comes in. The fireplace is on, so the Vouivre is free to warm himself by it if he wants.
Elsword looks like what Sesa might have thought "a young Sankta" might look like, save for the fact his wings are not visible (but there's a mysterious ring floating behind him that could feasibly be that?). His general demeanor is more along the lines of Executor's, or even Passenger's — it's that air of subtle emotionlessness, the vacancy, that really gives it away. He doesn't even smile as Sesa comes in, though he waves and tries to look friendly.
There's also the matter of both of his arms being mega fucked up — the left is covered in burn scars, and maybe Sesa will remember Gnosis talking about disfigurement from that volcano; the right has turned almost entirely black, with spiralling black vines and white flowers growing out of his skin. Although his hair covers a lot of it, from some angles, it's easy to see that the right side of his face and neck both have black veins reaching almost to his eye. He might....... be in a bad state. It's fine, he's fine.]
Hi. Do you want anything to eat while you're here?
[Be nice to your house guests before you drop a lore bomb on them, right? Right.]
no subject
Instead, he carefully closes the door behind him and makes an immediate bee-line for the fireplace, visibly trembling as he goes. He hates this, usually he's more capable in harsh climates, but this seems...completely untenable, for him.]
I am fine, but thank you. To be able to warm my weary form by your fireplace is more than enough for the time being.
[He exhales on a deep sigh, holding out his hands towards the flames and rubbing them together for a moment before looking back to Elsword. It's so strange, he was so...exuberant over text. Or at least, he seemed to be.]
I hope I haven't intruded on your quiet time.
no subject
I live with four other people. [
about to be three because Chung is going to be dead by next month] There usually isn't quiet time, it's just everyone else is out right now. And... I don't like being alone anyway.[He doesn't do well if left on his own. If he were the last person in the world, he'd go insane from solitude, not to mention his amnesia.]
...are you a dragon?
no subject
[I'm sorry. He talks like this. ALSO CHUNG DONT DIE???
His tail swishes behind him as he continues rubbing his hands together, and it's only when he glances back over his shoulder that he realizes Elsword is staring at him with those big ol eyes. Okay Sesa, be cool. Be a Perfect Role Model. You're being observed.]
I am Vouivre. Just like you are Sankta.
[So. Yes.]
no subject
Cool. I know a dra...um. Vouivre. Back home. His face is a bit fuzzy in my memory, but he has horns and a tail like you do.
[Nods to himself like... Denif might as well be a faceless blue blob at this point, but Elsword can at least recall his name. It sucks that people fade from his memory if they aren't around, though.]
...but you came here to talk about stuff, right? About corruption and the Guardians?
no subject
Do you? I have several acquaintances back at Rhodes who are also Vouivre, though at times I feel like we could not be more different.
[When, in reality, it's Sesa who is the weird one. He inclines his head though, after saying that.]
Yes. I would like to know as much as I can, to adequately prepare myself. Though I do not expect you to simply tell me everything all at once...so, hm. What more can you tell me of the Guardians? Are there others?
no subject
Moder said there were more, but we haven't found them yet. There's one at the lake, but we can't reach that because of the fog wall. And there's the River Guardian that's a big fish. It's what put fish in the river for us to eat, so you have to bring the bones back and say "thanks" every time you eat something from it.
[No idea why, that's just how things are. When someone tells you to say "thank you", you say "thank you" god dammit.]
We have to "save" them, or that's been the trend so far. Me and someone who isn't here anymore worked to save the River Guardian. Mizuki saved Moder. And then all of us banded together to save Zahliya. The first two were corrupted by the creature in the forest and were doing its bidding, but Zahliya is immune to it, so he was fighting for centuries alone beyond the fog wall. That's what he said, anyway.
[Elsword kind of gets it. He'd do the same thing for the people he cares about.]
With the River Guardian and Moder, we, uh... had to fight and kill them, and they resurrected eventually. Zahliya just needed a ritual to be summoned from the fog since he couldn't get out of it. I guess the other Guardians might be similar, where we have to probably fight them and kill them. ...that's what's worked so far, anyway. I don't know if anyone has any better ideas.
no subject
He's just not sure if the fact that they resurrect eventually makes him feel better or worse about the idea. It isn't as if the Reunion members who died by his hands ever had a chance to talk back.]
I will be honest with you, Elsword. I don't enjoy fighting. And I enjoy killing even less. But it is as you say. It's working...and no one has a better idea. I suppose these beasts would have killed you had you not fought back. Am I correct?
no subject
[The Shopkeeper and Trader don't fight, either, and that's just how it is. Elsword won't fault anyone for not joining in on a battle if they're uncomfortable with it.]
Im crying I accidentally deleted this notif when I was clearing my notifs why do I do this
[Especially since, at the moment, they're still barely just acquaintances. That said...Sesa looks towards the flames, watching the shadows dance around where he's sitting.]
But I couldn't ask you to do that for me. It isn't as if I don't fight...there is plenty of fighting to be done back home. And if you don't, those you care about will suffer. And I cannot allow that to happen.
I just prefer not to.
