December FamMeet
Who: The Grove
What: Town Hall
When: Mid-Late December
Where: Inn Lobby
Warnings: Child death mentions, torture, body horror all probably will be brought up.
[ In the morning, Irene will trek around the Grove to knock on doors and let everyone know she's setting up a information sharing meeting in the Inn's lobby. She figures there would be best, considering the new fireplace (thread pending on my behalf) set up and the fact it's about as safe as they're going to get.
Irene also lets everyone know that any fights and any blatant drama starters will be met with punishment. She doesn't elaborate on this further. Zahliya is invited. Irene tells Moder if she wants to sit by the door to listen, she can. She does not invite the merchant siblings, however - though she'll make no objections if someone else does.
She seems to be writing things down in their shared journals this meeting so people can reference this later. ]

Master, relax. We are two men, speaking plainly and coming to an inevitable agreement about creating a plan. Let us have the freedom to talk and think.
[ There is a huff - but it is more like a sigh. ]
Worry not, if we are going to do anything you will be the first to know.
no subject
Yeah, he's right. We're just talking.
[He waves a hand, then looks back to Lancelot.]
The reason I went into the woods at all is because I couldn't see the fog everyone was going on about. Can you blame me for being skeptical? I'm not going to just blindly trust somebody at their word. I need to see it for myself.
[No offense.]
The fog being like it is now seems unusual to you people anyway. Why is nobody even talking about that?

It may be because it's become the normal thing of this world. To accept we are constrained by this barrier until we understand it more - that said, there is a girl named Nene. Capable of traversing through it, though... If you had this item. [ He says, holding out a pair of Golden Glasses to be seen by the two of them. They clatter awkwardly against his gauntlet hand. ] Then you will be able to see the safer paths, that Nene traverses along, yourself.
[ He'll dismiss the item, tucking it back into the scarf-like cape bundled where his neck would be. ]

[Nods towards Irene.]
But I mean more like. Yeah, we're stuck here because of that fog...but it's not dense right now. It's not right up to the treeline. You can go pretty damn far in there right now.

Just because that fog pulled back doesn't mean it's entirely safe to explore, now. Vash and I still got jumped in there.

[He thinks he can hazard a guess, honestly.]

[ There is a slight sigh. ]
It would also require Irene's involvement.
no subject
Yeah, well. You'd probably have to mediate in that case. Me and her don't exactly get along so far.

[WELL It's not like Wolfwood makes it easy to talk to HIM, so]
