New netbook, who this?
Who: Dark Cacao Cookie and YOU
What: exploring town
When: late-March
Where: netbook and around the Grove
Warnings: will update if needed!
[ so if you happen to glance at your notebook at some point you might catch some writing, very very NICE writing (like someone that probably practices calligraphy, though it's slightly shaky) popping up.
First are a series of numbers that might be recognizable as measurements? Size-wise it's a decent sized space. In fact, it's a very estimated yard-age of the Grove. Then: ]
12 buildings + 1 across the river
various states of repair
no apparent defenses outside the fog wall/forest itself
river seems to be clean enough as a water source. various washed up debris?
[And here, have the beginnings of a map forming! Looks like someone doesn't realize this is a communication device, oops]
[And if anyone goes out looking for the mysterious writer they will find a tall man in full armor walking around taking notes like a fricken OSHA inspector?? If you were there when he arrived you might recognize him as they angry yelling sword man, but he looks much calmer now. Thankfully]

I will hold you to that.
[A pause, then:]
I do have something your research and this ... news... has reminded me of though.

I know you will.
[ And he knows Dark Cacao will come down on him if he doesn't try. Those words manage to distract him a little, his sheep ears perking gently upwards. It pulls his attention entirely to Dark Cacao and not himself, which is why he needs. ]
Oh?

A dream of a fight?

Those beasts had domain over the sky. Aligned with the sun and moon. In my dream... I felt like the moon itself was staring down at me. I saw a beautiful sky, the moon and stars and two suns... all moving around each other in perfect balance. I knew in the dream that I was a normal, mortal cookie again. You see how I could have confused it with that battle?
[that one feat that granted him his Souljam. That took an wandering warrior and made him a king]
But that sight did not last. Darkness came. War and sickness upon the earth. One of the suns plummeted from the sky, followed by firey streaks.
Even with the remaining sun and the moon still there... I have never seen or felt such a darkness.
But when I awoke it was not startled or afraid. I felt... a kind of peace. Calm. I have never had a dream so detailed that was not based on a memory. And never a nightmare that left me refreshed.

Moder had described the exact same thing. ]
You were given a vision of the very moment this world met it's end... When the false god, this demon, struck down his sibling, the Sun God, and poured it's corruption onto the world. We recently received the story from a guardian named Moder.
[ But... the feeling of peace after. That disturbs him, his fingers going to his lips as he thinks, rubbing idly there as his frown deepens. Was Dark Cacao's previous soul corrupted? Was the peace coming from the false god? Or was the peace the freedom of the ritual? ]
I must admit, the sensation of peace worries me...

If you felt that way, then I am sure it was what it is. The Moon, the true Sun God... I believe they can be trusted. That what we have been told is the Truth. If you felt the Moon was offering you peace, to simply show you this vision but not cause you fear, then I believe it to be true.

[ He is not entirely sure how to describe her. Many say Moose yet she is of no Moose he has ever seen before. ]
A moose? with multiple arms. She is the Guardian of the Forest, and I am unsure of her true powers. There is Zahliya, the Gargoyle Guardian, who is able to purge mild cases of the corruption I believe? Heimr and Ydalir, though I am unsure if they have any powers beyond their ability to bring in items and construct things. And most recently a statue has been found and restored that belongs to the true Sun, though I have heard her powers are yet barely there.

[He arches a brow but accepts it. Honestly a moose with arms is less weird than a human]
I will make sure to visit this statue myself, once I have a chance.

Oh, I'm sure Beiwe, that is the Goddess' Name, will appreciate that. The more we believe in and put faith into the true Sun, the weaker the false one will become.
[ Little tail wiggle, sheep tail go brbrbrbbr. ]
A young... uh... Werewolf? [ Not Cookie, though he is aware of a Werewolf Cookie... ] by the name of Beat may be able to fill you in further if you desire to speak with him on her.

And speak with Heimr if you wish to short up defenses, he is the one who is able to build buildings.
