[OPEN] elsword's housewarming party!
Who: Elsword & You
What: Housewarming party!! Snacks!! Mysterious river noises!!!! A mushroom probably!
When: Early August, in the evening
Where: Elsword's house :D
Warnings: frat boy party stuff probably
Elsword has been building a house. And, when August rolls around (time is weird here, just go with it, it Feels like August ok) he manages to complete it. Which means...
a) moving really shitty furniture into the actual rooms, sorry this is all the Shopkeeper could spare, he'll buy and/or make nicer furniture later
b) installing a chandelier (dangerous!)
c) going around to the grove's residents to ask if they want to live with him
and
d) inviting people to have a "housewarming party", and explaining "I've never had one before but it sounds like fun" (you are here!)
There's food aplenty (mostly fish) cooked up and ready to eat, and the Shopkeeper has provided further party snacks, which is a fun way of saying there is a single large bowl of pretzels on a coffee table that looks like a halved tree. There are apples picked from the apple tree by the river's edge (Elsword has already thanked the forest for those). There's water. It's not the most extravagant party food, but there should be enough to go around. Just be sure to share with your fellow housemates and/or current partygoers, please, it's only polite.
There are games, too, but not anything too exciting. Elsword doesn't have any board games, and video games are a myth where he's from, so you'll all be playing verbal games like Two Truths & a Lie or Truth or Dare, which may or may not devolve into the most fratboy shit ever. There's no liquor here to make you immune to questioning your life choices, after all.
Outside on the patio are some of those awful, terribly uncomfortable plastic chairs likely pulled from the back of the General Store, but at least you can sit down and enjoy the sounds of the river nearby. The rushing waters, the sound of something croaking, maybe some gurgling... it's all very normal. There's nothing happening in the water. Elsword has even tried to create fake fireflies outside by using some of his magic to make little yellow orbs that float and bob in the air. It's quieter than inside, too, and is a nice escape from the partying. A relaxing time.
At the end of the night, after everyone has partied out, Elsword takes to cleaning up. He'll tell you not to worry about it and just let him handle everything, but if you stick around to help, you might find him staring into the shards of a mirror.
[OOC: hi this is a mingle. please do the mingling. do not kill each other. ty.]

II. For the Curious a. (the trolley problem)
I c-cast polymorph on the t-trolley!
[ Caoimhe clamors in suddenly, seemingly distressed by the question. Acting as if the question was something happening right then and now. She then quickly follows up with - ]
W-What is a trolley!?
no subject
Pfft— ]
Haha, well, I suppose the trolley doesn't exactly have a Charisma score??? [ Since she doesn't know what a "trolley" is, that's probably also going over her head, but— ] It's like… ummm, a big cart, but it moves with mechanical components rather than horses… and while that makes them more convenient, it does also make them more dangerous if they end up running someone over. It's very unlikely they'll survive, hence why the stakes are so high here~.
no subject
That is so scary - and sad... Is it the idea of being unable to save everyone?
no subject
But it's all just rhetorical, so you don't have to be sad about it. No one's actually getting hit with a trolley. [ Knock on wood— ]

IIa but i hope mizuki asks him b later-
Is it Enciodes?
no subject
Oh, Cliffheart's brother, right? [ Cliffheart's really nice! It's probably the only reason he remembers SilverAsh at all is because of her. ] Well, I suppose, if that's who you'd pick? For me, it'd be the Doctor, for example! Surely they're important to you, too?
[ This is a vague threat of "you'd better save the Doctor," probably. Or maybe Mizuki is just genuinely oblivious to Gnosis' affairs half the time. 90% of the Liberi are flighty as hell, though, so— ]
no subject
He affords a momentary quirk of the lips.]
I would hit Enciodes with the trolley.
[Enciodes would probably escape in one piece, somehow. They say Felines have nine lives. Gnosis wonders how many the man has left.]
More seriously, [okay we're done joking now,] I would prioritize the safety of someone I felt a strong sense of camaraderie with, over the lives of five people I have nothing to do with. Is that the answer you sought?
[No, we're not talking about the Doctor right now; Gnosis has yet to entirely understand Enciodes' fascination with them.]

This is really good.
[You can tell he's being honest because he says it with his mouth full.]
no subject
Really? You mean it? Do you want more???

[Considering how much Elsword fishes in general, he's actually kind of amazed there's still stuff in the river right now.]

ii - b. hi there's so many good prompts here i will hit u up more than once
[ checks. none of the above in immediate vicinity... ]
...
Mmmm...
I will... not confess. For either. GllChk and Tyr'oc will confess, because they believe it is the right thing to do. However, even ten years is a very long time for their lives. GllChk is middle age. I am quite young. I do not wish to take that time from him. He will not wish to lie about his actions.
Tyr'oc is very young. I do not wish to take that time from him. He will not wish to lie about his actions, either. That is why I will not confess. It is the same for Felicity. I do not know if she would confess, however, but I do not mind it either way. If we are freed, we can... find other ways to atone...
If it is Caoimhe, I will... confess? ...I believe she would, so it would be best for us both.
...
If my partner is Mia, I also will not confess.
[ mia would never confess in a billion years. they would go free. ]
no subject
Doesn’t make sense!!!! ]
I should have clarified… your partner is fundamentally a total stranger to you. Ignoring the circumstances of the crime and such, what would you do then?
no subject
Uh.
Hm.
...I would also change... for the crime... this is difficult.
...con..fess?

it reminds him threateningly of some of the Precursor* dishes GllChk has asked if he wanted any of in the past.
...
he is also too polite for his own good. he is holding it. he is. not eating anything at all for a significant period of time, because he is too busy still holding it,
*note: Precursors are very large bugs and will gladly eat things one may otherwise consider significantly unappetizing. ]
