sunyonce???? written around the 1st of the month after he's had a days rest
Hello, my friends, both new and old. I wish to ask if there is anyone who is associated with the Sun who would be willing to join in to summon Lady Beiwe - enough to speak with her, as we once did our Lady Ourania. I am not familiar enough with Sun-based magic as I am with Moon-based, and catalyst of those more inclined towards her or similar magic to act as cornerstones will work better toward stabilizing the connection.
Of course, even though not Sun associated are welcome to join! The more hands, the more bodies the summoning has to anchor too! I would like to do it ere the weather turns further and the sun weakens in the sky, and preferably do it when the Sun is highest, around noon-time.
Please let me know your interest!

[This is why she's not typically stoked to talk to him... well. That and perhaps she doesn't actually believe anyone would be pleased to hear from her. A "lie" like that feels slimy, a knee-jerk reaction that she hasn't bothered to examine closely.]
But you are correct - and I am happy to spite our tormentor in any way I can! If there's a chance I can learn more about the Grove's broken time in the process, so much the better. I do intend to fix that, after all. It is quite irritating.

Of course, my friend, as you wish!
Though I cannot say for certain, I believe the time anomalies may be due to something the false sun has done, as they are far worse out in the forest, which seems to be mostly his dominion. Though a month has passed, and I only experienced it as such, [ as far as he knows ] my wool would sometimes grow at a rate which would indicate years passing. Yet I was not aware of any speed up of day or night cycle.

[ Haha, time being. ]
Something both related to you and time itself - thus your magic - as an anchoring point should suffice. I am unsure of the longevity of such a plan, but with careful and constant maintenance it may work as an anchor. Perhaps a clock placed onto the front of the Inn, if you have any you may use back home, or think may be powerful enough?

[And even if she does not much like Pure Vanilla, allies to her efforts are begrudgingly welcome, since she can't simply strongarm the rest of the TBD into doing all the legwork for her here. As for devices from her timeline... the grand clock positioned at the center of the TBD's Clock Square comes immediately to mind, but she notes it as a last resort. The Department needs that, usually, though it would certainly fit the bill. However, it's not something she couldn't simply build another of given the materials, and there's plenty of Time-infused clockwork within the time rifts themselves, should she chance a way to retrieve it. And also... there's a particular treasure not so unlike the hourglass already sitting right here at her desk as she writes. Hmm!]
A town timepiece would look quite nice, wouldn't it? Though personally, I would rather see a dedicated structure than merely throwing one wherever it may fit. Perhaps that would strengthen the anchor, as well. Quite a bit more work, alas, but I have seen great things rise out of simple clock towers before.
I don't suppose there is a reliable way to retrieve objects from our worlds, then?

Hm, I do not doubt a clock tower or sorts would be more useful, and buildings can be bought to be magically erected. For buildings, if you desire a Clocktower of something other, you would request it of Heimr. Items of any magical sort, anything brought from our worlds into this one, will be handled by Ydalir, Heimr's sister. She's has not yet failed a request, my friend. I put my faith in her that she will be able to bring in what you wish for.
Take into consideration the price might be steeper, however! My Library took several intact medallions!

[Time rifts are cozy! For her. Not for anyone else. Anyone else would probably get irrevocably and unrecognizably warped by the exposure. Do not attempt.]
Ah, speaking of buildings, I am reminded of something I meant to tell you. Are you aware that Loop is attempting to make do living under a tree? In that rain we had, even! I do not believe they own so much as a single scrap of clothing; it is truly pitiful. Perhaps we will learn whether stars can catch colds.

Time should not be treated so cavalierly! You of all Cookies should known how delicate it can be, and to do so in someone elses World is short of disrespectful! Please have some more consideration, my friend!
[ Whatever direction his plea for her to be more considerate was going to go is immediately veered off into another direction - as she undoubtedly knew it would - by her mentioning Loop living underneath a tree. ]
Ah- while I cannot force someone to live where they do not wish it [ the peepaw vibrations begin ] and I cannot force clothes onto someone who may have no need for it, [ oh yeah she can undoubtedly sense it coming ] I will see what I can do to convince our friend that the Inn has quite comfortable interiors and, if they are uncomfortable there, they are more than welcome to make use of my house.
[ AKA: Loop will be pestered by a worried grandfather, well done, Timekeeper. ]
no subject
My, so you'd even let someone like that into your home. Well, it is your generosity, I suppose.
[Haha, get grandpa'd, idiot.]
no subject
[ But it's obvious he's been thoroughly distracted from this debate over the idea that Loop is sleeping NAKED, OUTSIDE, IN THE RAIN. Under a TREE. ]
Everyone deserves kindness, my friend, no matter what they may have once done. My door is open to everyone who desires or needs it, yourself included should you ever wish to visit or need a place to stay!

It's really not a big deal. I've been living like this long before I got here, anyway! It has nice shade and I can watch the stars at night~
