☀︎ it's a bright beautiful day to talk to a goddess ☀︎

Who: Sunyonce + everyone I dunno man
What: Sun Seance to talk to Beiwe
When: mumble mumble warm day high noon yeehaw
Where: Grove, safer
Warnings: None right now but if they come up-
[ A few hours before the sun rises to it's fullest at noon, on a day in September before the Monsters Truly Come Calling But There Might Be a Faerie Or Two when it's particularly warm, Pure Vanilla will write a post. It's quick, and to the point. ]

I believe today would be our best bet at contacting Lady Beiwe. Considering the current state of her Church and it's defilement, I feel holding it in the Grove by her statue will be the best course of action. Of course, I am open to alternatives!

[ But really, unlike the giant statue for Ourania, there is nothing else yet for Beiwe. So anyone glancing out their windows will see Pure Vanilla dutifully drawing a large magic circle with radiating lines and symbols and a spot in the middle, in the dirt. He even moves Beiwe's statue to the middle (minotaur strength, yay!) and Ouraina's statue to a spot in one of the Cardinal Directions that symbolize the moon. A place of honor. There are places left open for others to add their own symbols, their own lines, and being as how it's in the dirt, it's easily changeable as more people show up. Add your magic knowledge or find a spot to sit inside the circle if you desire to speak to Biewe.

Or make garlands of her flowers, or make Sunny D or... something. They're winging it. ]

(( like the moon seance this will mostly be a mingle until the mods come in with whether we succeed, blow up, or set the entire place on fire flamebringer. ))

Ohh… that sounds real complicated. Do you gotta draw the circle each time??

That also depends on the circle, I believe. You don't have to physically draw it yourself- sometimes I just levitate chalk or whatever writing implement and have it drawn out for me that way. Some spells have their own circles that automatically pop up- those are more or less ancient magics.

I’m so sorry I immediately took a coma nap—

Mmh, yeah, mine automatically show up like that, but only when I hold my wand. But I can’t make it look any different.

Do you have a lot of different circles, then?

no worries omg you're all good <3

Ah, so you have a universal circle then- how handy.

Here and there, yes. There are primary or universal circles, I suppose you can call them. But, since my world's magic runs on imagination, there can be a few different ways to do the same thing. I suppose most mages do whatever is the most efficient at the time, or whatever comes easiest to them.
