[ A few hours before the sun rises to it's fullest at noon, on a day in September before the Monsters Truly Come Calling But There Might Be a Faerie Or Two when it's particularly warm, Pure Vanilla will write a post. It's quick, and to the point. ]

I believe today would be our best bet at contacting Lady Beiwe. Considering the current state of her Church and it's defilement, I feel holding it in the Grove by her statue will be the best course of action. Of course, I am open to alternatives!

[ But really, unlike the giant statue for Ourania, there is nothing else yet for Beiwe. So anyone glancing out their windows will see Pure Vanilla dutifully drawing a large magic circle with radiating lines and symbols and a spot in the middle, in the dirt. He even moves Beiwe's statue to the middle (minotaur strength, yay!) and Ouraina's statue to a spot in one of the Cardinal Directions that symbolize the moon. A place of honor. There are places left open for others to add their own symbols, their own lines, and being as how it's in the dirt, it's easily changeable as more people show up. Add your magic knowledge or find a spot to sit inside the circle if you desire to speak to Biewe.

Or make garlands of her flowers, or make Sunny D or... something. They're winging it. ]

Hmm, not until the summoning begins, at least!

[But she simply takes Loop's little rant in stride, smiling up at them with that even, impenetrable mask of a face as always. Being hated is nothing new, not even by people she likes.

...There is maybe a dark flicker in her eye for a moment, though. Ah, Loop is still brilliant at driving barbs in where it hurts, but Timekeeper is determined to see the summoning through. It is not the time to cause a scene, much as she might want to retaliate on those words.]

My, for someone who doesn't want to hang out, you certainly profess to know me well! Whatever you think of me won't sway my goals. I am far more interested in results than opinions, after all.

[Halfway a lie, but a familiar one. Continuum Cog bobs away as Loop stands, making some disappointed clicks and hovering closer to Timekeeper again.]

[They linger, glaring at her from the corner of their vision. Is it wise to try and make her angry again? Probably not, but they do also know she has something of a positive relationship with Pure Vanilla Cookie... if a bleeding heart like him can care for Loop, they can accept that he'd have a soft spot for her as well. But, hah, would he remain so soft if she had a violent outburst in the middle of his happy little gathering?

They sneer, raising a hand up to their face.]

Of course you are. You know, you're a lot like someone I know, actually! Do you want to guess who that is?

Ah, but I guess you've never met him before... that's too bad! You two would really get along! He's aaaaall about pushing his goals on others. Tried to "save" a whole country by freezing it in time, and you know what? Everyone in that country hated him! Hated him sooooo much, every single person wished for him to be killed! He thought he was doing something good, but the country, it's people, even the Universe itself turned against him in the end! Not a single person mourned him, and he died without saving anything at all, all because he thought Timecraft would make him a hero. Isn't that just hilarious?

[It's a dare. Go ahead, make a scene! Does she value her pride or her reputation more? They're just dying to know.]

Hmmmm. [Ah, that sounds. Dangerous.] By freezing it, you say? Clearly, our goals are quite different. What fun is there in that?

[And that's the end of her outwardly calm demeanor. The scene flickers, glitches around them before stuttering to a halt, save for the two of them. Then, the Embroider is driven into the ground inches from Loop's feet, Timekeeper looming over them with a terrifying grin and a furious look in her eye.]

Do you think I am not already hated? Do you think I have not already heard such tales? Or lived them? Do you think I have NOTHING keeping me from walking those paths, Loop? Do I look like a cookie who thinks themselves a hero?

Clearly not, Timecrafter! Why else would I bring it up?

[They smile, calm in the face of the looming storm. Of course, they knew to expect this. Of course, she might act on impulse again, and they realized a little too late she may just be able to keep time stopped long enough to hide that fact... but that doesn't change their silly little decision~

They dig in their heels, refusing to crumble to such a display. If they can face certain death again and again, walk straight into the lion's den without showing their fear, they can hold against another one of Timekeeper's little fits.]

At least you have a little more self-awareness, I suppose... too bad about everything else!
