( after everyone's had time to rest after "forest quest", eventually felicity will, one by one, tell everyone to meet up at the inn at 6 pm. by the time they get there, she'll have several snacks out- cookies, breads, and chocolate croissants alongside fruits and vegetables and cuts of smoked fish- and a giant pot of tea and another of coffee ready with the fixings. it looks like she's got a whiteboard out? but no, she's mostly just 'writing' in the air just in front of a wall to make notes. she's already got a summary of what they've already learned and shared previously. )

THE LOCALS

HEIMR - runs the general store, a sad dad. "gave up his name" to the forest, which is why he's a shadow person now.
YDALIR - runs the trading tent, able to access other worlds??? "gave up her name" to the forest, see above.
RUSTY - a very good dog. be nice to him or else
ZAHLIYA - a gargoyle who's been brought to life. able to deal with corruption on a certain level. likes cheese. guardian of the grove, has many titles. good for him.
NENE - add's kid now, dealing with heavy corruption. guides people from the garden back to safety. say hi to nene she's here somewhere. if she ever brings you back to the grove, listen to her.
MODER - the big moose lady. used to be evil. she's cool now.

PLACES
INN - You are Here. Several rooms on the bottom floor can't be opened, give a heavy sense of dread when approached. You may have noticed an odd sense of familiarity otherwise.
ALDRIC'S MANOR -Contains at least three children, one dead. Elsword discovered a map and a journal there. Currently unable to get past the walls. The children inside are conducting a ritual, the details unknown.
PEOPLE FOREST - A part of the forest where the trees look like actual people. Very fucked up.
THE RIVER - Home of the river guardian, who Elsword and 9S (not here anymore) freed. Return the remains of any fish you eat to the river, as it's requested. Also it made us an apple tree. Underneath the river were previously the remains of dozens of people who had been buried alive. Unsure if this has changed since the original monster has been defeated.
VOLCANO - ???? FUCKED UP
THE GARDEN - Those who die or experience fatal injuries are brought here to recover both body and soul. filled with flowers and an ethereal mist. remaining in the garden after recovery leads to risk of degrading into the mist itself. to leave the garden safely however you are forced to pay a toll (permanent physical injury confirmed, memory loss, skill loss, ect. claimed)
CHURCH - ??? Nene used to live there.

THINGS

ALDRIC'S JOURNAL - contains information about how the grove used to be, including the fact that "we" used to live here. hold questions, this will be discussed further. Many pages are missing, and it's presumably not the only journal he's kept.
OLD PHOTOS - pictures of us that have been scattered around the inn. presumably of our "past lives". fucked up if true.

THE FOREST

A childish monster that's managed to take over the entire forest. Must be asked nicely to get wood or to enter long enough to forage or hunt, and thanked nicely after. Will throw tantrums so hard that it thunders and lightning strikes. Has a plethora of cursed plants and mutated or mutilated fauna ready to attack. Able to infect people with cursed plants also. Dangerous, petty, able to inflict curses for a time. Do NOT engage if possible. Threats include Carnivorous Flowers (able to absorb abilities of people it feeds from), wood wolves, patchwork "werewolves" made from various creatures and people, and more.

OTHER

THE MOON - changes in the sense that it's literally a different moon every night. sometimes it's one that's already "visited" before.
THE SEA - shown on the map, mentioned on the journal. it looks like a cliff overlooks the waters. there's notes of unusual happenings but it's unclear if it's just normal but weird fish or legitimate sea monsters.

Good to meet everyone! I'm Olivia Haas. I'm a botanist, which in this place could be a pretty useful survival skill! We're surrounded by plants, so we should know what we can get out of them to increase our resources.

Anyway, I know this is a pretty dire situation, but I'd still love to get to know everyone. We really are a rather odd group, aren't we? Myself included, of course.

Hallo! You've probably seen me around the therapy facility! I'm Mizuki, and I'm an Aegir. Or, a sea jelly, if that makes more sense. I like to cook and play video games and read manga and I'm very interested in psychology. I used to work as a chef's apprentice, a video game store clerk, a model, and a mercenary. If we haven't met yet, that's my fault. I've been in my inn room for most of the month working on a project. [The project was special daggers for Felicity to keep her magic under control.] My name is Gnosis Edelweiss. When I'm not stuck here, I work with Mizuki and Irene at Rhodes Island, more specifically as a member of the technological development department, and serve as the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Karlan Trade, and Speaker of the Parliament in Kjerag. Historically, the Edelweisses were record-keepers, so you can trust me to keep information here safe, if you'd like. It's a pleasure to meet all of you.

Extensive resume aside, technological sciences are my niche and passion, and ideally, I'd like to work toward fixing some of the more... antiquated fixtures in the Grove. My Arts — or "magic" to some of you — are cryokinesis-based, and unless my Arts Unit [taps his cane on the floor,] mysteriously goes missing or my abilities are locked down, such as within that volcano last month, I can freely cast them. Recently, I've been helping teach Toge sign language so that he can communicate more effectively, and I'm learning Elvish from Caoimhe. What else... ah. Like Mizuki, I'm not human, but Liberi instead — I in specific am a black-necked crane.

Lastly, unless it's an emergency, I implore everyone here to not interrupt me when I'm working. I prefer the solitude so that I can focus more easily. If I need something from you, I'll seek you out instead. I'll make exceptions for emergency situations and only emergency situations.

I'm Elsword. Sorry if I haven't met some of you yet, I've been... overwhelmed this month. I'm sharing emotions and stuff with most people here, and I've been having... uh. [Motions vaguely around his ears,] I've been hearing stuff, 'cause the forest infected me.

[Motions to his right arm, which is full of black vines and little white flowers and gross, black veins. It's been worsening since he was first infected all the way back in April; the tips of his fingers are starting to turn black, too. Never a good sign.]

Back home, I'm a knight. I have something called the Illuminous Phenomenon, which means I forget a lotta stuff and can't feel emotions much at all, but I'll try to remember everyone here. If you're gone for too long, though, I'll probably forget you. Sorry.

My role is to protect the Grove and those within it. I have the ability to purify corruption so long as it is something I take into myself, and no, I do not know what to make of the wolf situation. My understanding of my own abilities is sparse. That said, if anyone knows how to... externalize flame like that again, I would be willing to listen.

I was formerly a gargoyle statue brought to life when your past lives at the Grove ended in bloodshed, and I do remember each of your past lives and original identities. And, for what it is worth, I am sorry that I was useless then, and I am sorry that I have been useless now. I will attempt to do better for your sakes.

I'm from the same realm as Add and Elsword, though less traveled than they are- while they had a quest of great importance, I chose to help my home country repair itself after a great invasion. I am from the city of Hamel, capitol of the Senace kingdom. Over time, I became it's... ah, leader, let's say.

My family always oversaw the military aspects of the kingdom, but in the invasion... Ah, but, nevermind.

Through use of the Guardian Stone passed down through my family, I am able to protect those in need. Um, I come from Toril, from lands called Grandall. It is a place circled by great mountains and great storms that cannot be crossed and never end.

I had... Been traveling with other companions of mine to stop a great Calamity from taking shape - however, I woke up here. I... Am two Centuries old... An Elf, and my specialties - I can heal, and cast several kinds of magics from different houses. Such as, druidic, or even hard sorcery.

I know a spell to speak with plants, and I also know some others as well. Such as some minor healing magic... Growing up I was raised to learn Glamour magic, which has to deal with charms... I-I have been told before I can accidentally charm people, I am sorry if this has happened before.
